How does it work?

The Heart Rate PRO app is built on contact of your fingertip to your iPhone's back camera which detects variations of the light absorption caused by arterial blood-volume pulsations at any given moment.

When your heart beats, the blood flow and light absorption are greater. With this repeated pattern, the application measures and analyzes the frequency of your heartbeats to provide you with accurate pulse measurements and reports.

Does the Heart Rate PRO app measure my pulse?

Yes. The Heart Rate PRO app allows you to measure your pulse by placing your finger on your phone camera. No other devices needed. Simply place your finger on the back camera and follow instructions on the screen.

Does the Heart Rate PRO app measure my blood pressure?

No. The Heart Rate PRO app does not measure your blood pressure. You need a separate blood pressure monitor to measure blood pressure. You can manually enter your records in Notes for measurements. Make sure that the monitor you select meets your country’s regulatory requirements.

How to get the most accurate pulse reading?

The Heart Rate PRO app helps you to measure your pulse fast and accurate by placing your finger on your phone camera without any additional devices.

Please, follow these tips for the best results:

- Make sure your fingers are not wet or too cold

- Hold your phone steady and keep it still during a measurement

- Be sure your fingertip completely covers the camera lens

- Don't press too hard to avoid restricting blood flow to your finger

If you follow these instructions, the app will track your heart activity more accurately.

Why is my age and sex important?

The Heart Rate PRO app needs personalized information about your age and sex to provide more accurate data. According to medicine, the men's pulse differs from women's. The age of people also plays a very important role. The older the person, the less activity. In turn, the heartbeat is weaker. So, it is important to fill in My Profile information for in-depth insights that can be used for optimizing your physical activity and improving your overall health.

How do I delete a card from the History list?

In the History screen, select a card you want to delete and swipe left. A trash bin will appear. Pressing on this will delete the card.

NOTE! Once you delete a card there is no way to recover it.

Does the app play in the background?

Yes. The app will continue playing meditations and sounds while in the background.

Is Heart Rate PRO app free?

Yes. You can download the Heart Rate PRO app for free on Apple devices. You can upgrade to the premium version anytime. The premium version requires a subscription and includes full access for all features.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

How is Premium Subscription charged?

1. Payment will be charged to iTunes at confirmation of purchase.

2. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

3. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off in App Store.

4. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription or request a refund?

How do I cancel my free trial?

You can cancel the free trial at any time through iTunes. Follow this link for a step by step guide: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098. If you cancel your free trial, you will not be charged at the end of the 7-day free trial period.
